I agree with Pete that trash riding is really sweet. What kind of cymbal is that? Your groove, feel, and time on Prototype is really great. You really put good emphasis just where it was needed. On gimmie some lovin I really liked the rolls that you were doing and the production quality of the drum tracks is pretty damn good. What was the recording process for this project? Also, what kind of gear did you use? Nice job, and welcome to HOD. "Keep It In The Pocket". PT.

Thanks for responding guy's I appreciate it.
The trash cymbal is actually a trash can lid and a 16" HH Sabian sandwiched together.
The kit is a Yamaha anniversary maple custom set with a 20" gong drum.
The recording was done at my bands studio in Toronto.
We are very fortunate to have a great facility at our beck and call.
One of my band members is a producer and has a real soft spot for open vintage sounding drums so we use a lot of room miking to get the sound we want.
There is very little to no muffling on the toms and snare and I really try to pay attention to playing very relaxed and keeping the drums wide open sounding by making sure I don't bury the beater on the kick drum head and keeping my hands loose and really letting the rebounds happen with my hands.
